      Easter Weekend

      Get the long weekend started early and join us on Thursday for our usual Fish Supper Night. Settle into Good Friday with a leisurely lunch and don’t forget gin club from 5pm. Easter Sunday is the time to bring the family to the pub for a scrumptious get together. We’ll be serving breakfast as usual and our Sunday Best menu from midday.

      Easter Monday brings you our Bank Holiday Best Menu, full of pub classics and a roast rollover to cure any hangover. We’ll have the Bloody Marys ready.

        Early May Bank Holiday

        We’re making the most of the three-day weekend, with a great roast on Sunday, before easing into Bank Holiday Monday with a bloody mary and our Bank Holiday Best Menu – whether it’s a roast, a burger, or a superfood salad, or a day of bubbles.

          Street Food Garden Pop Up – Fat Snags

          This Summer, we’re celebrating some of the amazing Street Food we’ve got in the City, with monthly garden pop ups. We’re starting with Hotdogs from Fat Snags!

          We’ll also have Sadler’s running a pop up bar, so come down and enjoy a fine local sausage, in an amazing bun with homemade toppings alongside a pint of great beer. No need to book, but give us a call and pop your name down so we know how many sausages to buy!

            Spring Bank Holiday

            Another three day weekend! Ease into Bank Holiday Monday with a bloody mary and our Bank Holiday Best Menu –  a roast, a burger, or a superfood salad; there’s something for everyone.

              Alternate Español Night with Loki Wine

              We’re being joined by Loki Wine, for a night of unusual wines and delicious tapas – Croquetas, Jamón and Patatas Bravas, to name just a few. Head Chef Jon Westwood is devising a menu inspired from trips overseas – this is a night not to be missed, held in The Studio from 7pm.

              Join us for an arrival drink, five course sharing tapas-style dinner, and unusual wine pairings £60pp. Limited availability, book your tickets here.

                Father’s Day

                It’s that time of year where we get to celebrate the important men in our lives. Treat him to a delicious breakfasts or an Aubrey Allen roast from noon, there’ll even be a gift for all Dads off us.

                Always a busy one, so book your table early and keep the whole family happy.

                  Ginfields

                  It’s back for another year – and this year we’re going bigger and better with a whole pub takeover!

                  A more grown up kind of festival, The High Field presents Gin Fields. The BBQ will be fired up, Ian is creating a menu for inside full of delicious tacos and flatbreads and our DJ will be spinning the decks.

                  Oh, and of course there’ll be Gin, lots of Gin!

                  There’ll be fully stocked bars in the garden, with appearances from some of our fabulous suppliers, including a several guest gins too.

                  Tickets are available here. If you came to our event last year – you’ll know this is a definite date for your diary. Make sure you get yours early, as each year is a sell out. Doors open at 12pm, and you must have a ticket to gain entrance to the pub.

                  We are sure you don’t need any more of an excuse. After all, love is like a bottle of Gin.

                  Doors close at 6pm, with the after party continuing in The Studio. Tickets are £10 each, and includes entrance, a Grand Gin glass and G&T on arrival. Please note tickets are non-refundable.

                    Another date for your diary, we’re being joined in the garden by a family of foodies who started as street food traders almost 6 years ago. Serving up a traditional, authentic, menu with a concept that bridges the generations.

                    We’re excited to have them joining us for our Summer of Pop ups. No need to book, just pop down.

                      August Bank Holiday

                      We’re making the most of the last long weekend – pop down and join us as we roll into Monday with a  a bloody mary and enjoy our Bank Holiday Best Menu, hopefully alfresco-style.
