      It’s back for another year – and this year we’re going bigger and better with a whole pub takeover!

      A more grown up kind of festival, The High Field presents Gin Fields. The BBQ will be fired up, Ian has created a menu full of delicious tacos and flatbreads and our DJ will be spinning the decks. Oh, and of course there’ll be Gin, lots of Gin!

      There’ll be fully stocked bars in the garden, with appearances from some of our fabulous suppliers, including several guest gins too.

      Tickets are available here. If you came to our event last year – you’ll know this is a definite date for your diary. Make sure you get yours early, as each year is a sell out. Doors open at 12pm, and you must have a ticket to gain entrance to the pub.

      We are sure you don’t need any more of an excuse. After all, love is like a bottle of Gin.

      Doors close at 6pm, with the after party continuing in The Studio. Tickets are £10 each, and includes entrance, a Grand Gin glass and gin cocktail on arrival. Please note tickets are non-refundable.

        Street Food Garden Pop – The Indian Streatery

        Another date for your diary, we’re being joined in the garden by a family of foodies who started as street food traders almost 6 years ago. Serving up a traditional and authentic menu with a concept that bridges the generations.

        We’ll also have Church Farm Brewery with their great Mango Beer too. We’re excited to have them both joining us for our Summer of Pop ups. No need to book, just pop down.

          August Bank Holiday

          We’re making the most of the last long weekend – pop down and join us as we roll into Monday with a bloody mary and enjoy our Bank Holiday Best Menu, hopefully alfresco-style.

            The Studio Pudding Party

            We are hosting our infamous Pudding Party in The Studio . Join us for a light main course, followed by not one, but SIX mouth-watering puddings, finished off with our new season cheese board. Let your taste buds be tantalised, your eyes delighted, and your stomachs more than satisfied!

              Veggie Night with Daniel Acevedo of Mildreds – Date TBC

              Following the success of our first veggie night with Mildred’s, Daniel Acevedo is back in our kitchen for a second night.

              Serving the veggie massive for more than a quarter of a century, Mildreds has become a Soho institution – serving great value, fresh and colourful international food since 1988. Executive Chef and Author, Daniel Acevedo from Mildreds, oversees the running of their four restaurants across London – they really do know a thing or two about vegetarian and vegan cooking. We’re really excited to host them in The Studio, working alongside Head Chef Ian Meek for a unique evening of Asian-influenced tasting dishes. We promise you’ll be amazed.

                If you’ve ever been to Ginfields – you’ll know that we throw a great grown up event, and this October sees us bring back Oktoberfest to The High Field Studio. We’ll be bringing in local beers, a choice of real ales and craft beers! We’ve got an Oompah band to get you in the spirit, we’ll be serving up Bratwurst and other German fare to soak up all that drinking! Plus, if you’re not into beer, but would like to join in the fun, there’ll be german wine, gin and of course glühwein too.

                  We’re being joined by Loki Wine, for another night of unusual wines and delicious food.

                  This is a night not to be missed, held in The Studio from 7pm.

                    Edgbaston Light Switch On

                    The annual date for your diary – There’ll be lots going on in the street, so wrap up warm and take a walk down. We’ll have pork baps, mulled cider and hot chocolates (shots of something stronger optional extra!) and The Studio will be open – with plenty of extra seating to keep you toasty. Remember Highfield Road is closed, so access is to our car park is restricted. See you there, 4pm-7pm.

                      Festive Cocktail Masterclass

                      Your Christmas festivities starts here! Gather your friends, family or colleagues and join Jake and Brandon in The High Field Studio for a Cocktail Masterclass.

                        Festive Jazz Breakfast

                        Join us for our last jazz breakfast of the year, so dig out your Christmas jumper and we’ll supply the Santa hats! Open for breakfast from 8am, jazz from 10am. Best to book.

                          Christmas Eve Eve Bad Jumper Night

                          Join us for our High Field tradition on Christmas Eve Eve, for some Christmas cheer, a sing-a-long and plenty of mince pies to go round. Plus it wouldn’t feel Christmassy, without a bad jumper. There’ll be prizes for the best (or worst!) Christmas jumper so dig out your finest. Book a table if you are joining us for dinner or just meet us in the bar for a drink. 6pm-late.

                            Join us for mince pies and mulled wine and toast to Saint Nick. Join us in the eatery or enjoy a drink with us in the bar. 

                              Christmas Day

                              We’re closed for the day to stuff ourselves with turkey and then gently nod off in front of the fire. We look forward to seeing you on Boxing Day. Merry Christmas.

                                Back open with our Boxing Day Best menu – always serving the good stuff – Lunch from noon, and we’ll get the bloody marys or prosecco at the ready to keep on with the festivities.

                                  High Society New Year’s Eve Party

                                  31st December is about seeing in the New Year with a group of friends or family, with good food and a couple of drinks. It’s a social affair with sharing plates to the table, just add your choice of party goers.
