Christmas Eve Eve Bad Jumper Night

    Join us on Christmas Eve Eve, for some Christmas cheer, a sing-a-long and plenty of mince pies to go round. Plus it wouldn’t feel Christmassy, without a bad jumper. There’ll be prizes for the best (or worst!) Christmas jumper so dig out your finest. Book a table if you are joining us for dinner or just meet us in the bar for a drink. 6pm-late.

        We’re closed for the day to stuff ourselves with turkey and then gently nod off in front of the fire. We look forward to seeing you on Boxing Day. Merry Christmas.

          Boxing Day

          Back open with our Boxing Day Best menu – always serving the good stuff. Join us for brunch or a leisurely lunch, and we’ll get the bloody marys or prosecco at the ready to keep on with the festivities.

            High Society New Year’s Eve Party

            31st December is about seeing in the New Year with a group of friends or family, with good food and a couple of drinks. It’s a social affair with sharing plates to the table, just add your choice of party goers. Whether you’re a four or a fourteen, book your table early. Fill an enquiry or call us on 0121 227 7068. Bookings from 7pm, with early sittings vacated within two hours. £40pp, includes entrance, dinner and drink on arrival. If you’re joining us in the bar, just pop down. Once we’re full, we’re full. DJ till late.

              Open for breakfast from 9am, with Bloody Marys a-plenty and serving our New Year’s Day Best Menu from noon. Full of pub classics alongside delicious roasts; beats being at home cooking!

                Filthy Friday

                After a month-long detox of healthy eating and little to no drinking, it’s time to indulge and reward your hard work. There’ll be sharing boards, deep-fried goodness and calorific puds. The diets finished – you deserve a treat. Best to book.

                  Valentine’s Day

                  If there’s any date reserved to treat your special someone, it’s 14th February. Join us for dinner and enjoy a delicious sharing board from our specials, or a dish from our main menu. We’ve also got fantastic selection of fine wines and Champagnes that are guaranteed to win you extra brownie points.

                        Mother’s Day

                        We’ll be open as usual for breakfast, so why not change tradition this year and start off with a Buck’s Fizz Breakfast before heading out for the day?

                        We serve up the favourites alongside new classics and always prioritise quality produce. We are serious about our roasts too, so settle in with the family and enjoy top-quality beef from Aubrey Allen, Jimmy Butler’s free-range pork or our delicious vegetarian roast with all the glorious trimmings.                           Easter Weekend

                          Get the long weekend started early and join us on Thursday for our usual Fish Supper Night. Settle into Good Friday with a leisurely lunch and don’t forget gin club from 5pm. Easter Sunday is the time to bring the family to the pub for a scrumptious get together. We’ll be serving breakfast as usual and our Sunday Best menu from midday.

                          Easter Monday brings you our Bank Holiday Best Menu, full of pub classics and a roast rollover to cure any hangover. We’ll have the Bloody Marys ready.
