Our cracking Lobsters are back…
This July and August, you can enjoy whole lobster (at its prime), caught off the coast of Brixham and Colchester every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Perfectly paired with our Grand Mayne from Southern France, fruity and refreshing, very gluggable on its own but also tip-top with the sweet, rich flesh of Cornish lobster.
Lobster Thermidor, Grilled Lobster & Garlic Butter or Dressed Native Crab, served with Skinny Fries – British really is best. And if you don’t believe me, book a table and come give them a try. Be quick, once they’re gone, they’re gone.
August Bank Holiday
We’re making the most of the last long weekend – pop down and join us as we roll into Monday with a bloody mary and enjoy our Bank Holiday Best Menu, hopefully alfresco-style.

The Studio Pudding Party
We are hosting our infamous Pudding Party in The Studio . Join us for a light main course, followed by not one, but SIX mouth-watering puddings, finished off with our new season cheese board. Let your taste buds be tantalised, your eyes delighted, and your stomachs more than satisfied! Includes Pudding Wine & Port. Arrival drinks at 7pm.

If you’ve ever been to Ginfields – you’ll know that we throw a great grown up event, and this October sees us bring back Oktoberfest to The High Field Studio. We’ll be bringing in local beers, a choice of real ales and craft beers! We’ve got an Oompah band to get you in the spirit, we’ll be serving up Bratwurst and other German fare to soak up all that drinking! Plus, if you’re not into beer, but would like to join in the fun, there’ll be german wine, gin and of course glühwein too.

Edgbaston Light Switch On
The annual date for your diary – There’ll be lots going on in the street, so wrap up warm and take a walk down. We’ll have pork baps, mulled cider and hot chocolates (shots of something stronger optional extra!) and The Studio will be open – with plenty of extra seating to keep you toasty. Remember Highfield Road is closed, so access is to our car park is restricted. See you there, 4pm-7pm.

Your Christmas festivities starts here! Gather your friends, family or colleagues and join Jake and Brandon in The High Field Studio for a Cocktail Masterclass.
Join us for our last jazz breakfast of the year, so dig out your Christmas jumper and we’ll supply the Santa hats! Open for breakfast from 8am, jazz from 10am. Best to book.
Christmas Eve Eve Bad Jumper Night
Join us for our High Field tradition on Christmas Eve Eve, for some Christmas cheer, a sing-a-long and plenty of mince pies to go round. Plus it wouldn’t feel Christmassy, without a bad jumper. There’ll be prizes for the best (or worst!) Christmas jumper so dig out your finest. Book a table if you are joining us for dinner or just meet us in the bar for a drink. 6pm-late.

High Society New Year’s Eve Party
31st December is about seeing in the New Year with a group of friends or family, with good food and a couple of drinks. It’s a social affair with sharing plates to the table, just add your choice of party goers. Whether you’re a four or a fourteen, book your table early. New Year’s Day
Open for breakfast from 10am, with Bloody Marys a-plenty and serving our New Year’s Day Best Menu from noon. Full of pub classics alongside delicious roasts; beats being at home cooking!
